Valino Pergea 08RS

The PERGEA stands for “Perfect Gear” developed with a concept of providing the competitor with the strongest structure and most innovative compound for hard battles on the track. Aiming to help the driver achieve victory in both wet and dry conditions, this tire was given attributes in its tread design that both helped to dissipate water and heat alike. The tread design gives maximum contact patch while also maintaining structural integrity to prevent “chunking” or de-laminating/ separation of the tread from the body of the tire. The PERGEA was also given a 8mm tread depth to provide extended tire life so the driver can spend more time driving and not changing tires.

The VALINO PERGEA was designed with the needs of the driver in mind. Thus it was tested by many world famous drifting drivers who do not hold back when pushing a tire to its limits. Drivers such as Andrew Gray (4 time Formula D Japan Series Champion), D1GP driver Naoto Suenaga (member of Team Orange), 2022 D1GP Champion Naoki Nakamura, D1GP driver Tetsuya Hibino, and D1GP Driver Katsuhiro Ueo have all been able to test the initial prototypes and have given their feed back on its strength and weaknesses. Listening to their feedback the VALINO engineers have further fine tuned and eliminated the weak points.

Designed for the sport of Drifting the enthusiasts behind VALINO have given it lots of grip, increased strength, innovative tread design, and extended life. These attributes will give the driver the perfect gear to achieve greatness in many different forms of Motorsports. Expect the best experience and performance on track when you have the PERGEA equipped for your drift car.

The VALINO GREEVA (Grip+Innovation) aimed to build the best tire for the grassroots drifting enthusiast. To achieve this goal of the best grassroots drifting competition tire the engineers developed this tire at the world famous Ebisu Circuit. The tread pattern is designed specifically for heat dissipation under the abuse of hot lapping in tandem trains. The compound has been perfected by rigorous testing by Andrew Gray (4 time Formula Drift Japan Champion) and Naoto Suenaga (D1GP driver and member of Team Orange). Both veterans of the circuit, they provided valuable feedback on increasing grip and longevity. Through their feedback, the VALINO engineers were able to further refine the tread pattern and develop an innovative compound that can outlast the competition.

The montra for the GREEVA is “More fun and More life”. This is achieved through its special compound for maximum tire life and a consistent grip through out its entire tread life. With its 7.6mm tread depth the tire allows for lots of seat time for practice or just having fun with friends. Its tread pattern is also designed to allow for great heat dissipation to allow for more hot laps with friends in tandem trains. The pattern also removes straight edges to prevent the tread from chunking or de-laminating so that the driver can focus on driving and not the tire life. The compound’s innovation is in the consistency in its grip from new to the core. The grip level is not only higher than most of the competitors in this segment, it also allows for great strength and wet traction.

Driving on the VALINO GREEVA 08D will allow the driver to have fun with friends in tandem trains and give the driver confidence that the tire is consistent in its grip during competition. Having more fun and more life will be the experience of every GREEVA 08D driver.

VALINO TIRES enjoyed a very successful debut year with numerous victories in multiple drift competitions. The next stage is the Time Attack zone.

As a motor sport where the specific gravity applied to the tire is said to be more harsh than drifting, VALINO TIRES has spent over one year developing our high-grip tire [VR08GP].

A high-grip tire from VALINO TIRES with a bold asymmetrical tread pattern that demonstrates high performance on dry roads.
